Algarve is considered to be one of the best reef fishing places in the world due to the influence of the warm currents of the Mediterranean Sea. What makes it so ideal? Temperature breaks created where bodies of warm and cool water are pushed up against each other also act as a less tangible form of structure which attracts bait and fishes.
You will be picked up at the office at Marina de Vilamoura and taken for a Portuguese Reef Fishing Tour.
Ride upon the Yacht Sant’Anna, a 13.5 meter custom fishing yacht. The skipper truly knows these waters and with his patience and guidance will make a fishing trip a rewarding and fun experience for beginners and veterans. You’ll travel approximately 800 meters into the reefs to catch these much sought after fishes. The Mediterranean Sea is home to many of the reef fish lusted after by fisher folk around the world. Sea Bream, Groupa, Horse Mackerel, Red Sea Bream, Mackerel, Small Conger, Sole and many others are abundant in these reefs.
The tour ends at the office at Marina de Vilamoura.
