Spend a night away from the Algarve to visit some of Portugal’s other jewels on this great tour.

In Lisbon you will see all the main sites including the Monument to the Discoveries and the Belem Tower.

You will take a leisurely Sunday afternoon drive to visit some of the villages which make up the beautiful Estoril coast. You will also visit the UNESCO World Heritage Town of Sintra, which is famous for its 19th Century Romantic architecture.

The tour has a combination of guided sightseeing and free time so you can be sure you can see all the sites and still have time to relax at your own pace. Accommodation in a 4* Lisbon hotel is included in the tour price.

Itinerary

Day 1: (Sunday)

You will be picked up from your hotel in the Algarve and travel north for this Overnight in Lisbon with visits to Sintra and the Estoril Coast tour. There will be a stop en route for refreshments (payable direct), before reaching Lisbon at about 10.30am.

You will be taken to visit the following Lisbon attractions (no entrance fees are required for any of these attractions) :
• Jeronimos Tower
• Belem Tower
• Monument to the Discoveries
• Alfama – Lisbon’s oldest district

Sunday afternoon starts with a drive along the Estoril Coast with free time to soak up the atmosphere in charming Cascais(approx 20 minutes). Continue en-route to Sintra with your guide providing information on this UNESCO World Heritage Town en-route.

In Sintra you will have around 1 hour 30 minutes to explore at your leisure.

Return to your hotel in Lisbon, the evening is left free so you may do as you wish.

Day 2: (Monday)

On day two you will leave your hotel at around 8.30am and take a scenic train ride to Miradouro de Stª Luzia for probably the finest panoramic view of Lisbon.

On the way back to Central Lisbon you will stop for visits to the St Anthony Church and the Cathdral. Once you reach the city centre you will have around 2 hours free for lunch and shopping in Rua Augusta, one of the most famous shopping streets of Lisbon.

The last stop of the tour takes you to “Parque das Nações “to see the Oceanarium for about 1hour 30 minutes.

After this you will return to the Algarve, you will be dropped at your Algarve hotel in the evening.
