Take a tour of the hill of Montmartre in the north of Paris. This bohemian hill became one of the principal artistic centres of Paris in the late 1800s when many artists made it their residence. Many impoverished artists including Pablo Picasso and Amedeo Modigliani lived and worked on the streets of the Place du Tertre. Even today, artists can be seen on the streets with their easels.
