    Itinerary

Meet your expert guide at the top of the stairs of the exit of Metro Abbesses (line 12) continue walking and cross the street and wait infront of the church Eglise St Jean.

Set on a hill 130 meters high, the area of Montmartre looks grandly out over all of Paris. The end of the 19th century saw Montmartre become the center of artistic life in Paris and the model of a free, bohemian existence. Many artists, from Berlioz to Picasso, lived, worked, and played here. These creative spirits helped keep this area the city's intellectual and artistic centre, right up until the First World War.

The routes are also teeming with history and the expert guide will recount fascinating stories about the city and its streets, its buildings and personalities throughout the tour.

The expert guide will help you capture the essence of the great city with your camera. The camera you have is not important. Enthusiasm and imagination is the key to creating a great image. If you are the proud owner of the latest digital or traditional SLR, the guide will show you how to use all its capabilities to the full. If you are nervously clutching a humble €10 plastic throwaway, the guide will show you how to take great photos with that too!

You will have countless occasions to learn new skills as the guide devotes plenty of time to everyone in your small group, which will consist of a maximum of six participants.

    The tour ends at Montmartre.
