This tour to Luxor, visit the Dendera temple and marvel at Greek and Roman architecture
| Overview | |
Take a trip to the ancient temple of Dendera, one of the best preserved in Egypt, and see the archaeological ruins at Abeydos. To enter this ancient Egyptian temple walk through a massive gate that lies between two Roman fountains. Don’t miss the central building of the complex which is the temple of the Goddess Hathor, the goddess of love, music, wine and procreation. At Abeydos, see archaeological remains from the ancient Egyptian dynasties. You’ll also see the tomb of a first dynasty king which was mistaken for the tomb of Osiris, an Egyptian king who abolished cannibalism and taught his people the art of agriculture.
