Spend the day tasting some of the finest wines in Hunter Valley, Australia’s premier wine district. One of Australia’s oldest wine growing districts, the Hunter Valley has more than 80 wineries spread over 10,000 acres! Begin the tour with a visit to the historic village of Wollombi, in South Hunter valley. Stroll around its 19th century sandstone buildings and revel in the laid back atmosphere of the village. Further on, a treat to your senses awaits you at Lindemans. Sample its wine and continue to the home of Bluetongue Beer, which is famous for its ginger beer. Trace the winemaking process from vine to bottle as you tour the vineyard and winery with the scent of crushed grapes in the air. A wine appreciation session will now guide you through the textures of different tasting wines. You can also delight in the blend of a smorgasbord of tasting platters with the appropriate wine.
