Welcome to Waiheke Island, a quiet tropical paradise in the Hauraki Gulf in New Zealand.

Just a 35 minutes cruise away from Auckland, Waiheke Island is made up of beautiful sandy beaches, native bush, vineyards, olive groves and laid back seaside villages.

On this tour a local expert will give you an introduction to the highlights of the island on a coach trip. After the tour you are free to explore the island on your own and will be given a ticket for travel back to Auckland at a time of your choosing.

Itinerary

The sightseeing tour of Waiheke Island starts from Pier 2, Ferry Terminal, 99 Quay Street, Auckland.

Set out on a picturesque 35-minute boat cruise through the glorious Hauraki Gulf to reach Waiheke Island.

On arrival, you will be met by an experienced guide who will lead you on a guided bus tour and give you a taste of the views, culture and history that make up the diverse Island of Waiheke.

After the tour you are free to explore the island on your own and will be given a ticket for travel back to Auckland at a time of your choosing.
