A rich variety of animals live high in the trees of Fiji’s magnificent forests. There are endemic birds, parrots, tree frogs, flying foxes, colorful parrots and exquisite butterflies. But how are you going to see any of these amazing creatures unless you can travel right over the canopy?
Take this incredible zipline canopy tour and you’ll see fabulous views of the tropical forest and its wildlife as well as enjoying one of the greatest adrenalin rushes of your life.
On this wild adventure, you can launch from platforms as high as 45 meters and whoosh along a 200 meter-long line at speeds of up to 60 km per hour.
It’s an experience you’ll never forget!
For your Zipline Canopy Adventure - Pacific Harbour, you will be picked up from your hotel in Suva, Nadi, Denarau or Coral Coast at a time arranged with your local activity operator.
The thrilling zipline adventure is located near the village of Wainadoi about half an hour from Pacific Harbour and about 2½ hours from the international airport at Nadi, on Viti Levu (Fiji’s largest island).
Arriving at an eco-reserve in the heart of the rainforest you will be met by your English-speaking local guides. They will show you how to use the equipment and answer any questions you may have.
Once harnessed to the zipline, you will whizz along a 200m long line at speeds of up to 60km/per hour. An incredible adrenalin rush!
Look down to see stunning views of the forest and the Wainadoi River valley far below. Enjoy close-up views of the birds and animals of the rainforest canopy.
The tour operates in all weather conditions except when there is lightning overhead, high winds or especially heavy rain. Usually, conditions improve within a short time. However, if adverse conditions continue, you will be rescheduled for a later time. Keep in mind that the tour is located in a RAINforest and so a little ‘liquid sunshine’ is to be expected but don’t let it dampen your fun!
