A new study has revealed what the "essential ingredients" are for the perfect holiday.
The research from a nationwide study, commissioned by isango! Notes seven ways in which travellers are "more likely" to have a "perfect holiday".
A total of seven factors - including when, where, how long for, who with and what activities to do - all make up the criteria for an ideal getaway.
Holidaymakers are advised that the weekend of July 11th-13th is the best time take a break and that two weeks is the ideal length
A Western European location, for example a holiday in Spain, would be the perfect holiday location.
Activity holidays - such as the ones on offer at La Manga Club - as well as culture and sun breaks are all popular too, with beach holidays favoured by 66 per cent of travellers.
"Our research shows that for many people, if you want the perfect holiday, it's not enough to just flop on the beach," Ranjan Singh, chief executive officer of isango!, commented.
At La Manga Club, holidaymakers can play golf, tennis, football and even enjoy horse riding.
