This tour is your chance to see the highlights of Southern Spain and cross the border to Portugal for a stay in the city of Lisbon. Take scenic drives through the gorgeous countryside of Spain and enjoy the beauty of its rolling hills, blue skies, white-washed homes with terracotta roofs, stereotypical windmills and olive groves. Take a tour of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, often referred to as ‘The eighth wonder of the world’. Arguably the finest example of Arab architecture in the whole of Spain, the palace and its gardens were built as a re-creation of ‘heaven on earth’, with cool patios, fountains and intricate carvings still as clear as when it was first built. Enjoy a scenic drive past the Rock of Gibraltar in the southernmost tip of Spain to Seville. See its Bell Tower, spend some time viewing the greenery and fountains of the Maria Luisa Park and get a glimpse into the Moorish heritage of the city.
