Watch the multi-award winning musical, Cabaret, playing at London’s Lyric Theatre. Cabaret brings to life Berlin of 1931, a dark and sexually charged haven of decadence. It’s extraordinary and morally ambiguous inhabitants determined to keep up appearances as the real world - outside the comfortable sanctuary of the cabaret - prepares for the nightmarish chaos of war. At its heart is the legendary English singer Sally Bowles who performs every night at the infamous Kit Kat Klub. Sally’s path entwines with Clifford Bradshaw, an American writer who visits Berlin at this time, and they soon fall in love. Be a part of Sally’s emotional journey as Clifford decides to return to the United States and she resolves to remain in Berlin after aborting their baby. Watch-out for the satirical content of the musical as the Kit Kat Klub taunts and derides the visitors to the cabaret with a sizzling score including ‘Money’ (Makes the World Go Around), ‘Maybe This Time’ and ‘Two Ladies’ among others.
