Overview

Explore the dark and sinister side of London on this chilling tour by coach and on foot. Be prepared for goose-bumps when you pass the most haunted house in London where terrifying happenings occurred throughout the 19th century.

On this walking tour, you will visit the sites where, in 1888, Jack the Ripper hunted and gruesomely murdered five London prostitutes. Your guide will tell you about the suspects in this unsolved case and the clues that led all the way to the Royal family. You will also see the 10 Bells Pub, built in 1752 where many of Jack the Ripper's victims were said to have drunk. Learn the clues and hear about the suspects. Form your own theories about the identity of this notorious serial killer.

You will visit one of London’s most authentic fish and chips restaurants where you can sample this world-famous British cuisine – their fish is supplied by Billingsgate Market and served in the traditional manner as you continue your walking tour. You will walk through Spitalfields; one of the oldest markets in London.

Very interesting tour about the ghosts of London and Jack the Ripper (an interest of mine) with a lot of extra nice-to-know info about London. The guide, John, is very knowledgeable, funny and altogether a very nice man. You can clearly feel the love he has for this topic and also for everything that is going on in present-day London. Just wish there could be an additional discussion time for guests who are interested so you don't bother guests who are not that into the subject. I would definitely recommend this tour with John as your guide.
