Enjoy the traditional Japanese cuisine of tempura and rice dinner in a typical Ryokan restaurant. Follow it up by a stroll through the old streets of Gion, up to Gion Corner where you can watch a delightful show of seven Japanese traditional arts.

Gion is home to many antique shops, from tiny shops filled with knickknacks or incense or lacquer ware to huge stores that sell samurai gear, antique dolls, folding screens, kimono and more.

On this evening trip, relish traditional Japanese cuisine and explore the old streets of Gion in Kyoto.

Itinerary

From your hotel in Kyoto, you will be transferred to Gion in the evening, for Night out in Gion.

Experience a traditional Japanese dinner of Tempura at the local restaurant and stroll through the old streets of Gion to Gion Corner with your guide. Very popular with overseas tourists. Enjoy puppet and comic plays, Japanese dance and music. Have your photo taken with a Maiko after the show.

At the end of this superb night out, you will be transfer back to your hotel by 2200h (10:00pm).
