Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel in Rome for this private tour. You will travel in an air-conditioned vehicle, accompanied by a guide. On this tour you will visit:

• Ancient Forum : Walk around the remains of the imposing ancient buildings and get an insight into the life of Roman society, their beliefs, and their social and political life.

• Colosseum : Visit the imposing arena and relive the days of Ancient Rome. Learn about the inner workings of the Colosseum and the special effects and showmanship of the ferocious games played there.

• Catacombs of Rome : The catacombs are the ancient underground cemeteries used by the Christian and Jewish communities to bury their dead and celebrate the funeral rites and the anniversaries of the martyrs. During the persecutions era, they were also used as places of refuge but later they became real shrines of the martyrs, and pilgrimage centres for Christians from every part of the empire.

At the end of the tour you will be returned to your hotel in Rome.
