Itinerary

Meet your English-speaking guide the Piazza Strozzi at 1000h (10.00am) for your walking tour.

This tour takes you through the streets and piazzas of Florence, with a focus on renaissance art and architecture. Your guide will talk about the ideas of the Renaissance, the lives of many famous artists, the Medici family who showered Florence with countless masterpieces, and how life changed forever during this epic period of the history of Florence.

In-between the famous landmarks, such as the Ponte Vecchio and Piazza Signoria your will wander down enchanting back-streets and alleys paved with the original stones from ancient times. You will stroll through Dante’s old neighbourhood before arriving at the Galleria della Accademia where you will learn about one of the worlds most famous sculptures; Michelangelo’s David.

The tour ends in the museum at around 1300h (13.00pm) and you are free to spend more time here at leisure.
