There is no pick-up for this exciting From Florence to Chianti by Vespa tour. Make your way to the Via de’ Lamberti, 1 (corner with via Calzaiuoli) 50122 Firenze. You will be met by your guide English speaking, who will accompany you on this tour. This is a small group tour (maximum 12 people).
Board a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan and get transported to the starting location of the tour. The journey takes about 15 minutes.
You will then undergo approx. 40 minutes of training by a professional before setting out. If you do not feel comfortable driving, you can choose to ride with an experienced guide.
Drive for about 2 hours taking in the stunning scenery of the road to Chianti. Drive along quiet and scenic country roads offering splendid views of the rolling hillside and visiting different small medieval villages in the heart of Tuscany.
Arrive at a medieval castle which also has winery. Spend the next 1.5 hours exploring the winery and having lunch.
A light lunch and wine tasting are included here, featuring Tuscan specialties with a little tasting of some of the most famous chianti.
After lunch, hop on to your sturdy Vespa once more, driving on for more than 1 hour.
Hand over your Vespa and board the minivan for a 15-minute ride back to Florence.
