Dating back to 1198, The Brazen Head is Ireland’s oldest pub located around the corner from Christchurch and the Guinness Storehouse. The Brazen Head is worth a visit not only for its historic value but as one of Dublin’s best live music venues. Enjoy live music and wholesome food in any of the pubs three cozy rooms and in summer soak up the atmosphere in the cobblestone courtyard.

Enjoy a delicious traditional Irish meal (you can choose you dinner menu). You could sample both the tasty traditional dishes and light snacks on the bar menu. The pub itself is divided into three distinct rooms, each with its own individual atmosphere. The two larger rooms host the live music and the smaller middle room – the bar is the oldest part of the pub. Low-beamed ceilings, old posters, Victorian fireplaces, stripped stone walls and a grandfather clock add to the down-to-earth setting. The history of this pub and Ireland can be seen recounted on the walls. Take time to dwell on the interesting scripts and pictures.
