Trinity College: It was founded in 1592 by Elizabeth I, and is the only constituent college of the University of Dublin, Ireland's oldest university.

The Guinness Storehouse: It was built in 1904 to house the fermentation process. It has a retail store with massive exhibits of ingredients like water, barley and yeast that combine to make a perfect pint.

Dublin Castle: It was built between 1208 and 1220, it represents some of the oldest surviving architecture in the city, and was once the centre of English power in Ireland. You can go in and wander around the Castle free of charge

St Patrick’s Cathedral: Formally known as The National Cathedral and Collegiate Church of Saint Patrick, St. Patrick’s Cathedral is the largest church in Dublin.

The Old Jameson Distillery: Famous for the Jameson Whiskies where the process of malting, milling, mashing, fermenting, distilling and maturing is done.

Kilmainham Gaol: Built in 1792, it is Ireland's most famous prison. The leaders of the 1916 Ester Rising were executed here. The prison was closed in 1924. This building gives a good insight into the history of Irish Republicanism.

National Museum: It displays more than 2000 artworks with the emphasis on Irish landscape paintings and portraits. Free of charge
