You will be picked up from your hotel/ guesthouse at 0730h (07:30am) and taken on a guided bus tour of the Snæfellsnes National Park of Iceland.
The Snæfellsnes National Park was established end of June 2001, being the fourth one in the country.
The tour will visit the following places:
• The Snæfellsnes Glacier: (1446m) Snæfellsnes glacier is believed by many to be one of the earth's seven major mystical power spots.
One of Iceland's most beautiful glaciers, 1,446 metres high, it sits on top of a dormant volcano at the tip of Snæfellsnes peninsula.
• Arnarstapi Harbour: Continue along the coastline with its rugged terrain and onwards passing the Arnarstapi harbour, small and picturesque, with basalt columns.
• Djúpalónssandur: Take a short walk along the beautiful beach at Djúpalónssandur. On the way you will pass Gatklettur, an interestingly-shaped cliff with a hole in it.
The tour will also break for lunch (payable direct).
On your way back to Reykjavík, you will pass through some quaint little fishing villages, including the Ólafsvík village.
The tour returns to the starting point after approximately 10 hours.
