Itinerary

You will be picked up from a centrally-located hotel and accompanied by a guide, travel in a coach to visit:

Esztergom: It is one of the oldest towns in Hungary, and was the capital of the country from the 10th till the mid-13th century. It is still the seat of the Roman Catholic Church in Hungary.

Visegrád: Walk upon the 750 year-old stones of the formal Royal residence and enjoy a fascinating view of the Danube valley from the hilltop citadel.

Szentendre (artist's village): Walk around the baroque settlement, built on medieval ruins of the picturesque artist's village called Szentendre, situated at the South Gate of Danube Bend.

During the summer (1May – 30 September), you will return to Budapest by boat on the Danube.

The tour ends at the pier/city centre.

Return by boat during 01May - 30Sep only depending on the tide.
During winter (01Oct - 31Mar) and times of low tide return to Budapest by coach (to the city centre).
Hotel pick up is available from centrally located city hotels, approximately 30 minutes prior to departure time.
