Itinerary

To start your Hanoi Half Day Sightseeing tour will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi. Your itinerary changes depending on whether you have chosen the morning or afternoon tour.

Morning Tour:
Your first stop is the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where visitors can pay respects to the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh.

In the grounds of Hanoi’s presidential palace you can visit Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House, the simple two-room dwelling where Ho Chi Minh lived from 1958 until his final days (1969). Preserved in the same condition as during his life, it may be viewed through the windows.

Also visit the One Pillar Pagoda, an architecturally-unique example of Vietnam’s pagodas. First built in 1049 during the Ly Dynasty, the pagoda is in the shape of a blooming lotus.

Continue to the Quan Thanh Taoist Temple, dedicated to one of the principal deities in Taoism; this 11th century temple is one of Hanoi’s major attractions.

At the end of the tour you will enjoy some traditional Vietnamese beef noodles.

Afternoon Tour:
Your afternoon tour also includes pick up from your hotel and visits the following places:

The Hanoi Museum of History, which will take you on a fascinating journey through Vietnam’s History.

Continue to the Hoan Kiem Lake where you will find the Ngoc Son Temple, located in the heart of Hanoi, which contains an islet with the tiny Tortoise Pagoda and the picturesque Huc’ Bridge.

To end your adventure you can arrange a ‘Green Car’ to take you through the spectacular West Lake with stops at shrines and splendid viewpoints.

To end the tour you can choose to dine on some delicious Vietnamese beef noodles or watch a traditional puppet show.
