Overview

Due to their location in the Atlantic, the Canary Islands are Mecca for surfers from all over the world. Take to the waters with this great package which offers you expert tuition in Surfing, Stand-up Paddle, Kite Surfing or Bodyboarding.

This indepth tutorial covers all the basics on dry land, meaning you are feeling confident by the time you take to the waters. Your tutors are highly experienced watersports professionals and you will be provided with the latest equipment. The package also includes an energy snack.

Itinerary

Your Surfing or Bodyboarding Lesson in Gran Canaria starts from your hotel from where you are picked up and taken for the course. The courses are designed for all levels of surfing prowess, for complete beginners, intermediate surfers as well as the most advanced.

Four different activities are available:

Surf Safari: Suitable for all abilities, in this course you will learn to ride the best waves.

Stand-up Paddle Surf: A popular sport originating in Hawaii, no experience is required for this surfing.

Bodyboarding: A fun-filled course, teaching you how to stand up on a surfboard.

Kite Surf: In this course, you will learn to use the wind to help you reach top speeds.

You can choose to do a single activity from above or you can also go for combination of the 2 or 3 activities. Tentative course of the tour is as follows:

You will be picked up from your hotel in Gran Canaria in a coach. All the courses begin with a safety briefing and theory class in the surfing school. Then, you will head to the beach and do some yoga and stretching before hitting the waters.

Proceed towards the water, to get some practice with your instructor, who will teach you the how to surf like a pro. Grab a light snack or lunch (not included in the tour) and then head back to the water for some more practice.

Go solo in the waters and ride the waves. Surf the Atlantic breakers on a pristine beach. At the end, you will depart for your hotel in the coach.
