Itinerary

The tour starts from Central Railway Station, outside Elisenhof in Munich. With 1 ticket on this hop-on-hop-off tour, you can explore all the attractions at your leisure. With 8 stops covering all of Munich’s main attractions such as Marienplatz and Schloss Nymphenburg among others, this tour provides the perfect introduction to city.

Your ticket is valid for 24 hours from when you first board one of the buses. Buses run from 1000h to 1700h (10:00 am to 05:00 pm) around every 20-30 minutes. Your ticket allows you unlimited use, meaning you can hop-on and hop-off as many times as you like at any of the designated spots! There is multi-lingual commentary also. The stop points include:

• Hauptbahnhof: Central Train Station of Munich.
• Odeonsplatz: Situated on the north side of Munich’s central old town, Odeonsplatz is a large pedestrian square. Every year in July, an open-air classical concert takes place here.
• Oper
• Marienplatz: It is the heart of the city. In the middle ages, the square used to be a market place where tournaments and festivities took place.
• Karlsplatz: It is a large square in the centre of Munich. The square has a big fountain in the summer and an open-air ice rink is installed in the winter. There is a shopping centre underground.
• Olympiapark: It is an Olympic park that was constructed for the 1972 Summer Olympics. The park serves as a venue for cultural, social and religious events.
• Schwabing: Situated in the northern half of Munich, it is popularly known as the ‘artists quarter’.
