Your Austrian excursion will truly be a time to remember.
The tour starts from the Munich Central Train Station. Accompanied by an expert English-speaking guide, who will take you on a 90 minute train journey to Austria and back again.
This tour is divided into two parts. The first part is a guided orientation tour of the historic Old Town lasting between 90 minutes and 2 hours. The highlights of which are:

The city’s old medieval shopping streets. Take a walk through this charming area and discover its side-streets, romantic arcades, courtyards, churches, monastery and catacombs.
Cathedral of Salzburg, it is considered one of the most significant pieces of church architecture in Austria. With its magnificent façade and mighty dome it represents the most impressive early baroque edifice to the north of the Alps.
Festung Hohensalzburg fortress, it dominates the skyline and various viewpoints and sites associated with the film, The Sound of Music, such as the Mirabelle gardens.
After the guided tour, you have free time for approx. 3 hours to visit sites of your choice assisted by maps and advice provided by your tour guide.
