Overview

Travel back to the heyday of the Prussian Empire when you tour the gorgeous Charlottenburg Palace and attend one of the famous concerts in the Great Orangery.

Built by King Friedrich I in 1699 as a summer palace for his wife Sophie Charlotte, Charlottenburg is not only the oldest, but also the largest Prussian palace in Berlin. The Baroque-era building is renowned for its lavish furnishings and its magnificent collection of 18th-century French paintings.

With an informative audio-guide (available in multiple languages), you can explore the splendid interiors and enjoy the ornate decor and stunning artworks.

Your ticket also gives admission to one of the popular concerts in the Great Orangery at Palace. These delightful events feature music of the 17th and 18th centuries played by the Berlin Residence Orchestra. Listen to compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frideric Handel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Vivaldi.  To make the atmosphere even more authentic, the musicians and soloists are all dressed in period costumes.

Choose from four seating categories, namely:

• VIP (front row of auditorium): Enjoy a glass of champagne during interval
