Travel in a top of the range Mercedes minibus from Edinburgh and set off on a picturesque journey covering lochs, mountains, ridges, castles and bridges. Some of the main highlights include Glencoe, Loch Ness, Eilean Donan Castle, Portre, Quiraing Mountain Pass and the Five Sisters of Kintail.
You will have an English speaking driver-guide as a companion who will talk about the history of the places that you will see during the tour. You will also get a discounts card which offers exciting discounts in several restaurants, attractions and shopping.
Note: As there is no accommodation provided with this tour you must book your own accommodation. This should be within 1 mile from the town centre, Somerled Square Portree or you would need to arrange your own transport to and from a central pickup/dropoff point. Please mention your accommodation details in Portree at the time of booking.

You will be picked up from Rabbie's Café, Waterloo Place in Edinburgh at 8:30am in a top of the range Mercedes minibus. Travel west passing through Linlithgow Palace and Stirling with its imposing castle and views of the Wallace Monument.
You will pass through the medieval Doune Castle and the places where the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail was shot. You will stop for refreshments at the bustling tourist town of Callander.
Next, you will head north towards the beautiful highlands surrounding Loch Luibnaig and continue to Breadlebane and up till the wilderness of Rannoch Moor. At an altitude of over 1000ft, covered by heather and peat-bogs and dotted with dozens of lochs, the area offers spectacular views and a unique landscape.
Drive down into Scotland's famous valley, Glencoe. Stunningly beautiful, with its dramatic cliff faces and steep slopes, Glencoe is infamous as the site of the Glencoe massacre in 1692. You will stop for lunch at Fort William before heading towards Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, and into the Great Glen, a deep glacial valley which follows a geological fault line.
Travelling west on the Road to the Isles, head through the stunning Five Sisters of Kintail, the mountains guarding the pass on the way to the Isle of Skye.
Stop to visit the famous Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland's most photographed castles, set at the junction of 3 lochs and completely surrounded by water.
After crossing over the bridge to Skye, you will drive along the dramatic coastline towards the north to the final stop for the day, Portree.
Book you own accommodation to spend the night and for breakfast.
You will have the entire day to explore Skye. Your bus will travel north of Portree, to the Trotternish Ridge with its spectacular cliffs and rock formations. Some of the ridge’s major highlights are the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock and the stunning mountain pass of the Quiraing.
Take a walk through the emerald green valley of Glendale, the dramatic sea cliffs of Neist Point or visit Dunvegan Castle, the 13th century home of the Clan Macleod.
You will return back to your accommodation (not included in the tour) in the evening.
You will be picked up from your accommodation and driven south to the Cuillin Hills and back over to the mainland for spectacular views over Loch Duich and the Five Sisters of Kintail.
Moving forward you will head to Loch Ness, best known for the mythology surrounding the Loch Ness Monster (Nessie).
After lunch at Loch Ness, head south through the Grampian Mountains along Loch Laggan to Dalwhinnie, home to Scotland's highest whisky distillery.
After a stop at Blair Castle you will enjoy refreshments in one of the Perthshire villages before heading back to Edinburgh past Perth and over the Forth Road Bridge.
You will be dropped off at Rabbie's Café, Waterloo Place in Edinburgh at around 7:00pm.
