After lunch, experience a thrilling four-wheel drive across golden dunes. As evening approaches, you will see the picturesque desert landscape bathed in the glow of the sunset. A barbecue dinner at a Bedouin campsite – along with hubble bubble pipes, belly dancing (will not take place during Ramadan) and other fun activities – completes the adventure.
For your exciting Hatta Valley and Desert Safari, you will be picked up in a 4WD vehicle from your hotel in Dubai and taken on a tour of the two contrasting landscapes – the lush valley of Wadi Hatta and the UAE desert. Wadi Hatta is about 120 kilometers from the city of Dubai.
Discover the true essence of Arabia, when your four-wheel drive leaves the bustling city of Dubai, heading towards Hatta. The silhouette of the rugged mountain range invites drivers to an off-road adventure through the steep passes. The journey takes you through a wild landscape of dramatic canyons, deep gorges filled with natural spring water and rocky valleys. The first stop is at Hatta Dam for 15 minutes.
The drive ends in the village of Hatta where we visit the Heritage Village to visit the restored fort converted to a museum which provides fascinating historical information about the area. We then have lunch at the beautiful Hatta Fort Hotel, still overwhelmed and impressed by the incomparable landscape.
In the afternoon, you will be taken into the desert to experience the thrill of a lifetime as the driver takes your 4WD vehicle over the seemingly endless dunes. Like a roller coaster ride, you will go up and down, leaving behind a trail on the satiny sands. Dip low in the deep trenches and rise high on the pinnacle of the dunes. Drive up to the highest dune and take a break to view the spectacular sunset over the horizon.
After a challenging ride across the desert, you reach our traditional Arabic camp, where a BBQ dinner is served in a torch-lit ambience giving for the bewitching belly dancer, who performs to rhythm of the captivating Arabic music under a galaxy of stars. As you relax on comfortable cushions in “Bedu” tents and quench your thirst, you have your hands painted with intricate henna designs.
