Take the reigns of your very own Jeep and set out through the green hills of the Konavle Valley.

Even in a country known for its scenery, the forests, flowers, and coastline views of Konavle make it among Croatia’s finest sanctuaries of natural beauty.

Drive up to the Velji Do viewing point and see the valley from above, as it gives way to shimmering Adriatic waters.

Lunch in the ancient village of Vodovada, where the whispers of century’s ruins are still audible.

Drive south through the picturesque town of Molunat, the only town in Konavle that is situated on the coast, admiring its red-roofed hillside homes and emerald waters.

Itinerary

You will be picked up in an air-conditioned coach/minibus from your hotel in Dubrovnik. Your instructor for this Konavle Jeep Safari will be able to converse in English, German, French, and Italian.

After some words of advice from your instructor, take the wheel of your jeep at the hotel Albatros and depart for the Velji Do viewpoint.

The true lushness of the Konavle Valley is unveiled from atop Velji Do, and the Montenegrin and Italian coasts are visible on a clear day.

As you continue through the Konavle, enjoy stunning views from your driver’s-side window of the Adriatic coastline and rolling hills of austere pines and scattered wildflowers.

Drive to the historical village of Vodovada, where you can still see the remains of 1st century waterworks that once conveyed water to ancient Epidaurum. Enjoy a delicious lunch of regional specialties at the old mill in town.

Make your way through the countryside to Molunat, a quaint seaside village where Mediterranean vegetation flourishes under a benevolent sun.

Enjoy a beautiful ride home through the heart of Konavle and get dropped back at your hotel in Dubrovnik.
