Itinerary

For your De Luxe Chichen Itza Tour – From Cancun you will be picked up from your hotel and will travel in a comfortable coach towards Chichen Itza. Enjoy an on-board breakfast of tea, coffee, bread and juice. Soda, water and beer are also available on board for your enjoyment.

Below is an approximate break-down of the day.

10:45 – 11:45 am: Arrival and visit to Cenote Ik-Kil (sink hole). It is open to the sky and goes 26 metres below ground level.You can swim there if the conditions are right.

12 noon – 1 pm: Lunch in a restaurant in Hacienda; Xaybe.This will be a buffet lunch and includes local Yucatan cuisine of chicken in sauce, pork, grilled fish, spaghetti, rice, salad, refried beans, fruit and flans. Enjoy watching a traditional dance as you eat your lunch.

1:15 – 4:15 pm: Arrive at the highlight of the day – Chichen Itza archeological zone. Take in this amazing archeological site. Explore the ruins which include impressive palaces, temples, and altars, as well as the largest-known ball court in the Maya world. Your time here is at leisure to explore as you wish.

5:00 – 5:30 pm: Take a short stop at the colonial town of Valladolid, founded by the Spanish in 1543. Explore the many sinkholes and beautiful churches.

6:30 pm (approx): You will be dropped off at your hotel in Cancun.
