Antoni Gaudi from Barcelona's art-nouveau period was an architect with a unique vision. He is the man behind the unconventional landmarks in Barcelona most of which are now listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The tour includes the following landmarks:
The Sagrada Familia: The unfinished masterpiece of Gaudi. The large Romanian church has astonishing towers which reach up to 70 meters. On the interior the Basilica is rich in ornamentation and symbolism. You will also visit the Sagrada Familia Museum, which will give a vivid idea about the history of the church and the story of its architect.
Park Güell: Composed of gardens and architectonic elements, this is one of the most impressive public parks in the world. You can easily get lost in the whimsical design of this park, be careful! Park Guell is full of unusual yet eye catching architectural elements. Don’t forget to take photos of the giant ceramic lizard/dragon on the stairs that lead up the hillside.
Passeig de Gràcia: Take a walking tour of the sophisticated boulevards of Barcelona lined up with top fashion brands. The avenue also contains two of Gaudí’s most celebrated pieces of architecture- La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. The guide will share information about the two buildings. Entry to Casa Batlló is not included.
