As you head towards the iconic Uluru, take in the sites of Kata Tjuta before reaching the sunset viewing area.
As the sun dips towards the horizon, sip a glass of wine and see the massive monolith break into different colors – from gold to orange, red and mauve. Take pictures of Uluru every few minutes to really capture the gradual color changes of the rock.
Upon your arrival at the viewing area, you will be served a selection of Australian wines and nibbles. As the sun sets over the western horizon, see the many shades of color that Uluru reflects.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Uluru was created over 600 million years and lies west of the Simpson Desert, not far from the ‘Red Centre’ of Australia.
You can either sit back and relax or stroll around the sunset viewing area, taking in the beauty of the desert plains.
After spending some quality time at the viewing spot, you will be dropped back to your hotel.
