Overview

Two hundred years ago a sailing ship was the only way to see Sydney Harbour. It still is!

Join this enchanting twilight cruise and see the iconic Harbour landmarks from the unique perspective of Sydney's only authentic timber tall ship.

Departing Campbell’s Cove, adjacent to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, you will sail past the Opera House, Fort Denison, Garden Island, Luna Park and Admiralty House.

Relax beneath the billowing sails of Southern Swan – the Flagship of the historic First Fleet Re-Enactment. A delightful buffet dinner and stunning views complete a picture of absolute perfection!

You can help haul on a halyard if the mood takes you. Or, if you prefer, just lie back and watch the sun sink over one of the world’s most beautiful harbour.

Note: From 1 Sep 19, you can enjoy starters on the tour. The tour will be for approx. 2 hours from 1 Sep onwards.

Cruise Sydney Harbour in style and comfort on the Sydney Harbour Tall Ship Twilight Dinner Cruise .

On leaving the wharf, you will set sail across the waters of the harbour in the gathering dusk. You will get splendid views of all the iconic landmarks such as Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, Fort Denison, Garden Island, Luna Park and Admiralty House.

Your host will provide an informative briefing on Southern Swan, Sydney's only authentic timber tall ship. Built in 1922 in Denmark of Danish oak, the ship, then known as the Svanen, was used as a grain carrier by the Tuborg Beer Company until 1969. She later saw service as a sail training vessel with the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets, and in 1982 she participated in the Tall Ships Race from Philadelphia to Portugal. In 1986 Svanen sailed to England to join the Australian Bicentennial First Fleet Re-Enactment for the historic voyage to Sydney.

If you'd like to heave on a rope you can – otherwise simply sit back, relax and enjoy the sunset over Sydney Harbour.
