You will be picked up from your hotel in an air-conditioned coach and taken for a sightseeing tour of Blue Mountains and Featherdale Wildlife Park. A guide will accompany you on this tour.
Start the day with a tour of the Blue Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed National Park. This rugged and beautiful region forms part of the Great Dividing Range, linking tropical north to temperate south, while dividing coastal cities from the vast Outback.
The first stop on your Blue Mountains tour is Leura village, a delightful blend of groomed gardens and quaint shops. Enjoy free time to wander the streets of Leura.
Re-board the coach and travel through Katoomba, heart of the resort region within the Blue Mountains National Park. The next stop is for an easy walk to visit the Echo Point Lookout which looks out over the famous Three Sisters, an impressive rock formation.
As you travel around your Blue Mountains tour guide will share with you traditional Aboriginal Dreamtime tales interpreting the creation of local landmarks.
You will have some time at leisure to explore; during this time a range of optional Blue Mountain experiences will be offered - Scenic Railway and Scenic Cableway (cost not included in the tour price). These are both great ways to see the steep valleys and canyons of the Blue Mountains.
As you start your journey towards Featherdale Wildlife Park you will visit one more look-out point; Cahills Lookout for impressive mountain scenery.
On the way back to Sydney you will stop at Featherdale Park and have your photo taken with a cuddly koala. The Park is home to a plethora of native Australian wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats, dingoes and cute little fairy penguins.
At the end of the tour you will be dropped back at your hotel in Sydney.
