You will be picked up from your hotel in Perth, Fremantle or Scarborough and will travel in a luxury coach accompanied by a guide who speaks English, German, French or Italian (depending on what your have opted for). On this sightseeing tour, you will visit:
• Kings Park and Botanic Gardens: The Park is spread over a 4 square kilometre area of which a significant portion is bush land while the rest is manicured gardens and barbeque areas. It has over 2,500 species of plants covering almost all the variety of plant life that flourishes in Western Australia. The bush land area is a riot of colours during the wildflower season (September and October). The Park overlooks the Swan river and the Darling Range of mountains and there are many trails where you can enjoy a stroll.
• Cottesloe Beach : This beautiful beach lies on the way to Fremantle and is a favourite with locals and visitors alike. Its crystal clear water is great for swimming while the rocks and reef nearby are great for snorkelling.
Continue by coach to the historic port town of Fremantle which is Western Australia’s largest port. It has spectacular colonial architecture, vibrant restaurants and a very colourful market. If you are here on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you will have some time at leisure to shop for souvenirs or enjoy a cup of coffee at a café.
After this tour, you will travel back to Perth in the coach and be dropped off at the City Centre where the tour ends.
If you opted for the river cruise, then you will be taken to the jetty from where you will board the boat to enjoy a cruise on the famous Swan River. Home to the elegant Black Swan, the river winds its way through Perth city and its suburbs, widening to the size of a lake at Melville Waters. Relax onboard and appreciate the sights – the new Bell tower, the restored Swan Brewery, Kings Park, Royal Perth Yacht Club – as the boat takes you back to Perth. Disembark at the jetty and board the coach to travel to Perth City Centre where the tour ends.
