However Phillip Island is best-known for the magnificent Penguin Parade. Every night the tiny penguins which are native to Phillip Island come out of the ocean and make their way across the sand. This is a truly unforgettable site and will, without doubt, be the highlight of your tour.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel in Melbourne for this Small Group Phillip Island Tour. You will be accompanied by an expert English-speaking guide.

Leaving Melbourne, there will be a brief stop for afternoon tea in the fishing village of San Remo before heading across the bridge to Phillip Island.

On arrival your guide will show you a wide range of native Phillip Island Wildlife including Koalas, Tasmanian Devils, Eagles and Flying Foxes. You will have the opportunity to feed Kangaroos, Wallabies and Wombats.

After dinner at a waterfront restaurant your next highlight will be a walk along the “Nobbies”, a spectacular part of the Victoria coastline. From here you will be able to see Australia’s largest seal colony.

Then comes the highlight of your day; the Philip Island Penguin Parade. Your tour party has preferred viewing for the parade. You will watch the Penguin Parade from a restricted area with a local ranger.
