Scenic Flight Over Kakadu National Park and Arnhem Land

This tour is available in two options: you can take the 30 minute or the 60 minute flight.

Please reach the Jabiru Air Terminal in time to board the flight. You will fly in a fixed-wing single-engine aircraft and as you see the spectacular sights below, your pilot-guide will give you interesting commentary about all that you see below.

30-minute Scenic Flight:

On this flight, you will see the awesome erosion on the ancient Arnhem Land Plateau including the ‘Archway’. Your plane will then follow the spectacular East Alligator River. This region is famous for some of the best rock sites such as Ubirr and several bushwalks. Continue to Mikinj Valley before returning via the placid Magela Wetlands. The Magela Falls look very beautiful from the air.

After this 30 minute flight, you will be taken back to the Jabiru Air Terminal where the tour ends.

60-minute Scenic Flight:

This flight will show you all the attractions included in the 30 minute flight and some more. You will fly over the Dinosaur Valley. See the extraordinary erosion of this valley before flying further coast wards along the East Alligator River which is famous for some Aboriginal Rock Art sites such as Ubirr.

Your plane will continue past the Red Lily Billabong which looks awesome because of the Red Lilies. Your plane will continue over the Ranger Uranium Mine before returning to the Jabiru Air Terminal where your tour ends.
