Itinerary

To begin your Jumping Crocodiles and Wetlands Tour, you will be picked up from your hotel in Darwin and you will travel 60 kms to reach the Adelaide River, home to over 1600 crocodiles and the location of the famous jumping crocodiles. Travel along the Stuart Highway to Adelaide River and listen to the commentary about the outskirts of Darwin along the way.

Adelaide River Cruise:
Once you reach Adelaide River, cruise the river to see the crocodiles from a close range. Catch a glimpse of these dangerous predators as the guide will entice them to leap out of the water.

Next, you will head to the Window on the Wetlands Visitor Centre, one of the highest points on the Adelaide River floodplain. Here you will find one of the most exotic wetland birds, the dancing brolga gliding in the sky. Also enjoy spectacular views over the Marrakai Plains from the Visitor Centre.
