Activity Overview

Get an aerial view of Queensland’s forested landscape and colourful live coral cays and as you glide over the Coral Sea. Leaving Port Douglas, fly over a scenic coastline dotted with villages that skirt lush tropical forests. The Great Barrier Reef will now spin its magic around you as you fly over dreamy coral cays and white sand beaches. This magical 2000 km stretch of marine sanctuary displays every colour, shape and form you can ever imagine!

Soar over the rugged, remote World Heritage tropical rainforests, seeing the vast expanse of untouched rainforest canopy.

If you are short on time or are an avid photographer then this is a great way to see the Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics/World Heritage areas in one go without getting your feet wet or your legs tired from trekking around.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the Sheraton Mirage Helipad for a scenic helicopter flight over the Great Barrier Reef and/or the Rainforest.

Enjoy a bird's eye view of Port Douglas and the famous 4 mile beach. Fly out past beautiful Low Isles for fantastic photo opportunities. Then it's on to Batt and Tongue Reefs. You will marvel at the colours in the coral and diversity of marine life over the reef, before flying over Australia's magnificent coral coast.

At the end of your flight, you will return to the helipad and get dropped back to your hotel in Port Douglas.
