Travel through the picturesque mid-south coast and experience the award-winning wineries and relish a scrumptious lunch amidst your wine tours. You will visit 5 of the renowned cellar doors during your visit and will also get the chance to sample special varieties of wine.
Your local English speaking guide/ driver will make sure that you get the most of your trip and a small group of 10 persons ensures intimate experience.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Adelaide in a comfortable minibus and head towards Glenelg, taking the coastal route to the Fleurieu Peninsular. Pass through the scenic mid-South coast, overlooking Gulf St Vincent, beautiful beaches before reaching to the wine making region of McLaren Vale, known for producing the best quality dry red wines, especially those made from Shiraz, Grenache and Mourvedre. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. McLaren Vale has more than 60 cellar doors.
You will visit five cellar doors of the region, which may include Rosemount, Coriole, d’Arrenberg, Kay Bros Amery, Serafino, Paxton, Angove or Maxwell, Chapel Hill, Fox Creek, Samuel’s Gorge*.
Sip some of the finest wines of the region and get to know the history of the vignerons owning the cellar doors.
During the course of the tour, you will enjoy a sumptuous lunch along with a glass of wine. After lunch, take a leisurely stroll along the rolling vineyards.
