Overview

Cruise along Australia’s longest river and enjoy the spectacular setting on this cruise and coach Murray River tour. Enjoy a refreshing cup of tea and relish buffet lunch onboard the luxury vessel, Proud Mary and observe the unique landscape that the river has carved on its sides.

After the cruise, you will enjoy the alternate view as you take a coach from its riverside and see how the mighty river meanders its way.

The tour also gives great photo opportunities including at the lookout overlooking the township of Mannum.

That’s not all. On your way back to Adelaide, You can visit shop (optional) to purchase items.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel in Adelaide and taken to the mighty River Murray, which is the longest river in Australia. It is seven times longer than the Thames and the third longest navigable river in the world, after the Amazon and the Nile. The river runs across three Australian states – South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.

To begin your cruise, get onboard the luxury vessel Proud Mary. The vessel offers spectacular river views and is well equipped. Take in the beautiful view that passes by as you enjoy morning tea during the cruise. Sit back and relax, as you will be served a sumptuous buffet lunch after noon.

Next, you will de-board the vessel and take on the road in a coach and tour along the bank of River Murray, driving past Yonghusband. Enjoy the astonishing views along the way as you see the river meandering alongside the road. You will also get the opportunity to capture the lovely view that come on the way as you will halt at several beautiful spots including the famous Mannum Lookout for photo opportunities.

Before heading back to Adelaide via the Adelaide Hills, you can visit a shop to purchase items.
