Watch a magical display of Argentina’s most famous dance form at the Buenos Aires Sabor A Tango Show. There are two options for this great experience:
• Tango Show With Dinner
• Tango Show Only
Tango Show With Dinner:
You will be picked up from your downtown hotel in a comfortable vehicle at the time arranged with the local tour operator and driven to the Sabor A Tango venue in the heart of Buenos Aires.
Sabor A Tango is the best way to live the tango experience in all its glory. On arrival at the venue, you will be shown to your seat and will be served a delicious three-course dinner from a menu featuring Argentinean and international cuisine. With this option, you can enjoy unlimited wine, beer, purified water, and coke during the meal and show. Waiting staff at Sabor A speak both English and Spanish.
The dinner takes about an hour and afterwards you will enjoy a superb show with singing and dramatic dances performed by renowned tango artists.
The tango originated in the lower-class districts of Buenos Aires sometime at the end of the 19th century, inspired by a mixture of influences from Spanish and African cultures. Dances from the ‘candombe’ ceremonies of former slave peoples helped shape the modern tango. The music derived from the fusion of various musical genres from Europe. In 2009, the tango was declared as part of the world's ‘intangible cultural heritage’ by UNESCO.
At the end of the evening, you will be taken back to your hotel.
Tango Show Only:
This option is the same as the one above but the start time is around 1 hour later and dinner and drinks are not included.
At the end of the evening you will be driven back to your hotel.
