Amsterdam
Chill literally at the coolest bar in Amsterdam, the XtraCold Icebar, a bar made entirely of ice. Based on the Dutch movie, Nova Zembla, the bar gives visitors an idea of what it would be like to be stranded on the North Pole.
At a temperature of -10 degrees Celsius, the Icebar is decorated with ice sculptures and the walls, stools, bar, and glasses are all carved completely out of ice.
Consisting of two parts, XtraCold Icebar first welcomes you into the “cool” lounge where you can eat, drink, and relax in a cosy atmosphere. You will also be served a FREE welcome drink. Next, head to the Icebar, where you will be provided thermal gloves and clothing to protect from the extreme temperatures. As you settle, you will be served two drinks in a glass made of ice – all on the house.
The Icebar is an experience unlike any other in Amsterdam!
